List-page settings
Set a clear page heading, practical page size and stable sort order. Primary and secondary sorting use selected columns with human-readable Ascending or Descending choices.
- Rows per page: controls pagination, not the total record count.
- Page heading: the title users see above the generated list.
- Primary sort: the first ordering rule.
- Secondary sort: resolves records with the same primary value.
- Table dimensions: tune the usable list area without forcing unnecessary horizontal scrolling.
Available actions
Enable only the actions that make sense for this module: Print, View, Edit, Delete and Export. User permissions still control whether an individual user may perform an enabled action.
Enable Delete only when the generated module can reverse or prevent deletion of related accounting, stock and dependent data safely. Module deletion itself is a separate administration operation.
View fields
Open the View fields section and choose the columns displayed in the list. Use Use form fields as a starting point, then remove internal or low-value fields.
- Choose a width that matches the content.
- Right-align amounts and numeric totals; centre concise statuses or dates when appropriate.
- Enable Sortable only where sorting helps users.
- Use Auto Expand for a descriptive column that may take available space.
- Do not expose internal identity, posting or snapshot columns merely because they exist in the table.
Search filters
Search filters appear above the list. Choose a field, user-facing label and matching rule; Jhapu derives the appropriate control from the field definition.
- Use text search for document numbers, names and references.
- Use From Date and To Date controls for date ranges.
- Use lookup dropdowns for related masters such as Project, Job or Account.
- Use fixed choices for category or status fields.
A field may be available as a filter without occupying a table column. Choose each list column for readability and each search control for retrieval.
